It is the final stage of multi-layer platings (Ni, Cu, Ni, Cr) in mirror brightness. Since it is a hard plating, it is not correct to apply it alone. It has a decorative and complementary nature. Bath content consists of chromic acid (CrO3) and sulfuric acid as much as 1% of chromic acid. A catalyst is used for better penetration of the plating into deep areas (pits). Where the plating is made, there should be very good ventilation. Nickel plated parts should be chrome plated immediately after washing without waiting.
